A STEPPING STONE YEAR is based on two premises: 1) that
religion helps people find answers to important life questions; and 2)
that UUs find these answers for themselves. The program focuses on creation
myths of the world, stories that scientists tell, birth and death myths,
and the life stories of significant figures in our U or U history.

Multigenerational
Worship Services
Learning to participate in worship services with the larger congregation is
an important aspect of religious education for children and youth. About once
each month, our Celebration of Life will have
a multigenerational focus. Children and youth are invited to attend, seated
with their families, as our entire church community celebrates together. Children
and youth often take an active role in these services as musicians, ushers,
bulletin cover artists, etc. Childcare is available for preschoolers during
multigenerational services, although all children are welcome and encouraged
to attend at least a portion of the service. No regular R.E. classes will be
offered on these Sundays. Dates of multigenerational services will be announced
in Steepletalk. R.E. teachers will also be able to provide dates as they are
scheduled.
