Our Whole Lives Our Whole Lives (OWL) is a comprehensive, values-based, age-appropriate, human sexuality program developed by the Unitarian Universalist Association and the United Church of Christ. There are five age-graded OWL curricula: Kindergarten/1st Grade, 4th- 6th Grade, 7th - 9th Grade, 10th - 12th Grade, and Adult. First Unitarian Church offers all age-components of OWL on a rotating schedule. OWL for 4th and 5th Graders The 4th/5th grade OWL class is scheduled to meet on eight consecutive Sunday mornings beginning Sunday, September 23 from 9:45 - 10:45. The last class will be held on November 11th. Carol Uebelhoer and John Grossman, certified and experienced OWL facilitators, will be leading the upcoming 8-session course. The 4th-5th grade OWL program is designed, in large part, to facilitate open and honest communication about sexuality between parents and children. Your commitment and participation in the OWL program will enhance your child's knowledge, skills, and values in sexuality education. Therefore, it is a requirement of the OWL program that parents attend an introductory parent meeting, and that parent and child together attend an orientation session. Introductory
