Economic Globalization -- Discussion of Issues

"Our World is One World is a prophetic hymn written by Cecily Taylor in 1930. Its verses capture the essence of today's debate over globalization.... As a community of faith, Unitarian Universalists are challenged to bring an ethic of care to our understanding of globalization and to do what we can to reverse the devastation it has created without becoming part of a myopic backlash against it." These words are from the first draft of the UUA Statement of Conscience on Economic Globalization. The full text of the Statement is available in the handouts rack, or at www.uua.org.
