Sunday Morning Adult Round Table (Round Table)
Sundays 9:30 am - 10:45 am
Round Table meets in the church Library every Sunday morning. This adult class
has been the cornerstone of First Unitarian's adult religious education programming for many
years. The class consists of a variety of one hour programs organized by the Round Table
Curricula Team.
Programs vary according to the wishes of the participants. Topics include spiritual
development and spirituality themes, UU heritage and traditions, Jewish and Christian
heritage, other world religions, social justice issues, life issues, currents events,
and more.

as opportunities arise.

Additional first hour programs
Chalice Night
Wednesdays 5:30 to 8:30 pm
Chalice Night is First Unitarian's Wednesday evening program, offered from September through
May. Chalice Night begins with a simple meal available for purchase. A brief
lay-led worship service follows dinner, and a variety of adult programming
follows the service. Nursery and childcare are provided.
Chalice Night programs vary from week to week. Previous programs have included book discussion
groups, religious education curriculum series, interfaith studies, adult Our Whole Lives
(OWL),
quilting, and a wide assortment of other offerings.
